You Can Find Freedom from Addiction

Addiction, a relentless adversary, can consume every aspect of our lives, leaving us broken and devoid of hope. I know this struggle all too well, once ensnared in its grips, desperately seeking a way out. Yet, it was through the sacred love of Jesus, as illuminated in Ephesians 3, that I found true healing and freedom—a healing that surpassed all understanding.

In Ephesians 3:17-19, Paul prays for believers to comprehend the profound nature of Christ’s love. “I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.” These words resonated deeply with me as I journeyed through darkness.

At my lowest point, I felt alone. But as I meditated on Ephesians 3, I realized that I was never truly alone—that Christ’s love surrounded me, enveloping me in His embrace. It transcended my past mistakes and present struggles, seeing me not as lost but cherished—a child of God, worthy of redemption.

Through prayer and reflection, I opened my heart to Christ’s transformative love, trusting in His power to heal my deepest wounds. Instead of battling addiction alone, I surrendered to Jesus, and His love continues to work in and through me.

Immersed in Christ’s love, I felt chains of addiction loosening their grip, a newfound sense of freedom coursing through my veins. It was a rebirth—a testament to Jesus’ transformative power.

The most remarkable aspect of my journey was realizing this love is available to all who seek it. Regardless of past mistakes, Christ’s love knows no bounds, freely offered to all who believe. It heals, restores, and sets captives free.
