Diverse best friends hugging on embankment

I’m rooting for you.

Hey there! Are you feeling rejected and alone today? Do you feel like things might never get better? I often experience those unpleasant feelings. It doesn’t take much to reopen the wounds of rejection. Suddenly all the times I’ve been rejected flood my senses, and I easily become offended and hurt. My pride cries out, “How dare someone hurt me like that?” I know it’s painful. I know you feel like you’ve been rendered voiceless. I know what it feels like when your face is smiling, but your heart wears a scowl. You may shut down emotionally, deciding that everyone around you deserves the silent treatment.

You might be thinking negative thoughts that keep lingering in your heart.

God can’t help me this time. He probably isn’t paying attention anyway.

Perhaps you’re giving in to those negative thoughts. You might be isolating yourself and ruminating over your pain. This can lead you to the trap of binge-watching movies or endless scrolling through social media, which only reinforces the feelings of distress. I empathize with you. This obsession can quickly become the perfect excuse to give in and indulge in harmful activities.

Feelings of loneliness and fear can be paralyzing. If you are experiencing these emotions, I encourage you to drop down on your knees and pray to Jesus. I understand that you might feel embarrassed, but there is power in obedience and crying out for His help. Share your fears, weaknesses, and doubts with Him, and ask Him to set you free from any obsessive thoughts or behaviors.

2 Corinthians 10:5 NASB says, We are destroying arguments and all arrogance raised against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ,” In times of desperation, it’s important to allow God’s compassion to overcome your pain. You’ll find freedom in the living words of the Bible when you shift your perspective. Instead of turning on the television, take a moment to listen to what the Lord wants to say. The book of Psalms reminds us that God is our shield and the lifter of our heads. When we look up to Him, our perspective changes, and we are reminded that when we cry out to Him, He hears us. So go ahead, lift your head, and call out to Him. He is the God who sees and hears us, and He will help us fight against our enemies of fear and doubt. Remember, God wants us to win at life, and with His help, we can overcome any challenge. I’m rooting for you! You can email me at [email protected], I am here to help.
